The flagship store is in Bandra’s Linking Road with 4,000 sq ft area and reports said the shop would contain apparels like shirts, tees, shirts, jeans, trousers and funky accessories. The proceeds from the sales will go to the foundation for education and health initiatives for the underprivileged.
All the family members of Salman Khan – mothers Salma and Helen, Arbaaz-Malaika-Amrita and their children, Sohail-Seema Khan and their children, Alvira-Atul Agnihotri and Arpita Khan were present at the launch occasion.
Mandhana Industries has partnered with Salman to open the store. Manish Mandhana said the clothing line at the store was related to five concepts – love, hope, joy, help, care and share.
Salman Khan said he decided to channelize his charity works through Being Human. He believed money could save a life and improve quality of life, but he did not expect miracles.
Dabangg actor said an average of Rs 6.5 lakh is spent every day by Being Human. He wishes to make the trust self-sufficient. So, he requested the people to buy products sold at his shops, so that profits come to the trust.
Then about talking about the response of Being Human clothes, he said he was quite happy with the clothes. He does not let any of the clothes come into the market unless he wears it.
