Salman fans crowd blood donation camp

The lure of a free 4 GB pen-drive and a dekko of Salman Khan saw the crowds queueing up for the blood donation camp organised on the occasion of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's 52nd birthday at the Sambhaji Garden on J M Road on Thursday. As 10,000-odd blood donors and Salman Khan fans gathered in front of Sambhaji Park on J M road on Thursday morning, even the one-way traffic was blocked for about an hour despite huge police bandobast.

Salman upset with Being Human fakes

Dressed in a torn tee and red jeans, Salman Khan gets up and agitatedly starts pacing the room as soon as the subject of Being Human crops of. “Are we allowed to hurt someone who makes fakes?” he asks threateningly. “Can we at least slap the guy around because that’s going to happen soon?”
Bollywood’s angry young man is fuming, following recent reports that fake ‘Being Human’ T-shirts were giving the Gucci and Versace rip-offs a run for their money. Jokes about this ‘flattering’ piece of news were made on Twitter, but Salman isn’t amused. “Only Cotton World sells originals,” Salman insists. “Please buy from there till October, when we will come up with a line of ‘Being Human’ stores. First we launch in India, then go global.”

Salman Khan to promote the product Blackberry Playbook

Another entrant in the burgeoning tablet market is the BlackBerry PlayBook which was launched yesterday in Mumbai. The PlayBook is a seven inch tablet which runs the QNX operating system which was acquired by RIM last year. The nifty tablet was unveiled by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, while also present at the event was Frenny Bawa, MD RIM.

Salman Khan - The big daddy of Bollywood

If you ever thought that Salman Khan was too reckless to make for a good father, think again.

In a recent survey, the youth of the nation surprisingly voted the Dabangg Khan as their favourite father figure.

Considering Salman has hardly ever played a father figure on screen and is very much single in real life as well, the results are unexpected to say the least.

And it has caused a stir among many, who are all still wondering what must have put Bollywood’s favourite brat on a paternal pedestal.

Veejay and television anchor Mini Mathur, who wasn’t aware of the survey, was quite shocked when we posed the question to her.

Sallu bhai charms Chennai folk

It was a long wait, but no one complained! The excited crowd waited patiently, for as much as two hours, for Bollywood’s charismatic Salman Khan.

The star was to launch the audio of Tamil film Markandeyan at the PVR Cinemas. Directed by Vijayan, Markandeyan stars newcomer Sabarish.

Jaunty in a dark-brown Being Human tee and blue jeans and his trademark silver bracelet, Sallubhai was charm personified as he walked in.

Explaining that he’d been delayed because the airport took time to clear his chartered flight’s landing, the superstar won hearts as he posed with fans before climbing the dais.
